These terms apply to all catering and buffet services provided by Chef Nema (chefnema.com). By booking with us or using this website, you agree to them.
1. Services
Chef Nema is a small, family-run business in the Cibao valley region of the Dominican Republic. We provide buffet and related catering services for business and family gatherings. The services, menu and quantity for each event are agreed with you before booking.
2. Quotes and bookings
- A booking is confirmed only after we agree the event details with you and receive the deposit.
- Quotes are based on the date, location, number of guests and menu you give us.
- Changes to the guest count or menu should be sent to us as early as possible so we can adjust.
3. Payment
The deposit amount, balance and due dates are stated in your quote. Prices are in the currency shown on the quote.
4. Cancellations and changes
Please contact us as soon as you know you need to cancel or reschedule. Deposits and refunds follow the cancellation terms agreed in your quote.
5. Food, allergies and dietary needs
Tell us about any allergies or dietary requirements when you book. Our kitchen handles common allergens, so we cannot guarantee that any dish is completely free of them.
6. Venue, setup and access
The client is responsible for providing safe access to the venue and any space, power or water that was agreed for setup. We may need extra time or charges if the venue is not as described.
7. Liability
We take care in preparing and serving all food. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for loss or damage caused by events outside our control, or for issues caused by inaccurate information provided to us.
8. Circumstances beyond our control
If severe weather, illness, supply problems or other events beyond our control affect your event, we will work with you to find a fair solution, such as rescheduling.
9. Website and content
The text, images and logo on this site belong to Chef Nema or are used with permission. Please do not copy or reuse them without our consent.
10. Privacy
We only use the contact details you give us to reply to you and to manage your booking. We do not sell your information.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed.
